2012: Previewing the New Year

Now that I’ve bid farewell to the wonderful year that was 2011, I look forward to what 2012 has in store for me.

I just graduated from Cal State Fullerton last month, making this the very first time where I don’t have to gear up for any upcoming classes. That feeling hasn’t fully kicked in yet but I believe it will completely settle in once I get that official diploma.

On the job front, I already interviewed for one job last month while I applied for another. I hope to hear back from the one I interviewed for sometime later this month. I’m certainly not putting all of my eggs in one basket and I’m keeping my eyes peeled for any other opportunities that may come up over the course of the year.

I’m anxious to go traveling again this year. After flying to four different destinations–New York City, Seattle, Anchorage and Orlando–and taking the train to San Diego three times in 2011, I’m eager to explore new places, revisit some destinations and maybe even go to an international destination if it all works out this year.

I’m very optimistic about how things will play out this year. I’m in a major transition period in my life and I want to make sure that the transition process is as smooth as possible.

What are looking forward to in 2012? Any goals? Expectations? Resolutions?
