Clearing the Dust Buildup in Here

My apologies for not having blogged for a while. I promise I’ll be back soon with new posts and there’s certainly a lot going on in the next few months that will necessitate that.

Women’s Transportation Seminar of Orange County officials selected me as one of the students that will participate in a transportation academy in August. It’s a real honor to be selected to participate in the program, which was something I wanted to do around this same time last year but unable to due to scheduling conflicts at the time.

The Mobility 21 summit also is coming up Sept. 6 (register at http://www.mobility21.com if you wish to attend). I went to my first one last year which I very much enjoyed and this year’s summit should be just as great, if not, better.

PRSSA National Conference in Washington, D.C., October 2010

I will attend my second and final PRSSA National Conference in October, this year in Orlando. Once National Conference wraps up, I’ll provide a full recap and highlights of the conference itself as well as the overall experience of my trip to Orlando. After D.C. for last year’s Conference as well as New York City this past January for a vacation, Orlando will mark my third time traveling to the East Coast. I always love to travel to new places, learn new things and meet new (and old) people so this should be worth looking forward to.

I will have extensive recaps of all three events over the next few months. Everything after that is anyone’s guess. I hope after all that, I’ll be able to announce on this blog that I’ve been hired to a full-time position somewhere. That’s for another day. For now, hang tight and I’ll be back in a few weeks!
