Last week, Japan suffered the worst earthquake in the nation’s history. The registered 9.0 earthquake has left more than tens of thousands of people dead and damages that are surely estimated to cost billions of dollars.
The disaster was further worsened by a series of aftershocks as well as tsunamis that have spread across the Pacific Ocean.
The international community swiftly came to Japan’s aid including the United States.
The American people are coming together to help this devastated nation and Orange County is doing its part in aiding in the process.
OC 4 Japan is a benefit event to raise money for the American Red Cross to help fund the relief and recovery efforts in Japan.
The event will feature a live DJ and entertainment, silent auctions, opportunity drawing and networking with Orange County’s philanthropic community.
100 percent of the proceeds will go towards the Orange County American Red Cross to benefit the victims of the Japan earthquake and Pacific tsunami disasters.
The event will take place at 7 p.m. Sunday, March 27 at 8Eighty8 Night Club, 4647 Macarthur Blvd. in Newport Beach.
