Happy Fourth of July! We Are Indeed the Greatest Country on Earth.

I would like to wish everyone out there a very happy Fourth of July today! Go out there and celebrate this day by going to a fireworks show, having a cookout, going to the beach or any other fun activities you may think of.

As we all enjoy this day, let us also be reminded of how we are indeed the greatest country in the world despite our shares of imperfections. Only in America can we say whatever we want without being thrown in prison. Every person in this great land of ours is duly considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. We are a nation that affords its citizens the basic human rights necessary for all of us to live in peace, prosperity and happiness. Our Founding Fathers had all of these ideas in mind when they signed the Declaration of Independence on this day in 1776.

Our nation faces many economic and societal challenges. Another great characteristic of this country is that we always recover from tough times, no matter what. Forget what the talking heads, talk radio show hosts and bloggers might say about where this country is headed. We are bound to get through such challenges in due time as long as people with opposing views and beliefs can somehow get together and come up with solutions to help lead this country to a better tomorrow. The times may seem gloomy right now but I am confident that better days are ahead as long as we all move to together in the same direction to ensure the continued success of this great nation of ours and everyone that lives in it.

Happy Fourth of July, America!
